Decahydrate Borax

Product introduction :

Borax decahydrate is a chemical substance with a molecular formula of Na2B4O7·10H2O. It a semitransparent colorless crystal or crystalline white powder; odorless, salty in taste; loses all crystalline water at 350-400℃ to becomehydrous Borax. (Na2B4O7), density 1.72g/cm3; soluble in water, also soluble in glyol, insoluble in alcohol. Its aqueous solution is weakly alkaline, and it is a colorless glass-like when melted. It has a bactericidal effect and is harmful to human body when taken orally. In terms of chemical composition, it is sodium tetraborate with 10 water molecules. Its crystals are plate-like or columnar, and the crystals are aggregated together to form crystal clusters, granular, porous lumps, etc., with a color of white with gray or light-colored yellow, blue, green, etc., and a glassy luster.
