Product introduction :

Pentahydrate Borax, also known as sodium tetraborate pentahydrate, is a white crystalline powder with a density of1.815 g/cm³. It is soluble in hot water and glycerol, slightly soluble in ethanol and carbon tetrachloride, and its aous solution is alkaline. It is stable in dry air but will slowly absorb moisture from the air in humid conditions, turning into decahydrate Borax. When heated 120℃, it loses all its crystal water. Pentahydrate borax has the properties of sterilization, disinfection, fluxing, and-temperature adhesion, and its uses are extensive, including as a weed killer, soil disinfectant, raw material in the glass industry, glaze in the enamel industry antifreeze and anticoagulant in the mining and metallurgical industries, glaze in the ceramics industry, and water softener in cosmetics.

Industrial uses: Borax pentahydrate is widely used in the glass and enamelware industry. In glass, it can enhance theability of ultraviolet rays, improve the transparency and heat resistance of glass; in enamelware, the enamel is not easy to fall off and has a luster.

Cleaning and deodorizing agent: Borax pentahydrate does not contain phosphates or chlorine, and is harmless to pipes and sewage systems, and can be used a natural cleaning agent to replace irritating chemical cleaners. It can remove stains, soften water, remove carpet stains and odors, and can also be made into a multi-purpose solution clean the surface of objects, which has cleaning, degreasing and deodorizing effects.

Agricultural and environmental uses: Borax pentahydrate can be as a weed killer, soil disinfectant, antifreeze and anticoagulant, as well as glaze in the ceramic industry, and can also be used as water softener in cosmetics and the production of boron fertilizer compounds for preservatives and rust prevention.
